As a fan of Jamerson – and a bass player of 20years + I signed up for this course thinking Id pick up a few lines, and see my playing moderately improve. Got that wrong it’s a lot lot more than that !
This course put the light on for me and showed me the path forward. Sure it gave me lots of Jameson’s devises and ideas which I use now every day in my playing– but it also gave me the tools and awareness to uncover the secrets of other players ie Crack the Jaco Code, Crack the Rocco Code, and more.
Pauls approach is to show you things you can use and apply at all levels – he’s a nice guy too and it comes across in the videos. You don’t need to be an expert to pick up ideas from this course – (though I'd say a couple of years playing is a good) – there is stuff here for all levels.
This is verticality for your bass development – you’ll have to do the course to know what I mean!
